Carpentry and laser technology in a combination – Trotec Speedy 400

In the heart of Östergötland, you’ll find Brödernas Finsnickeri, a company founded by the two brothers Viktor and Oskar. Their passion for carpentry started as a shared hobby, but over time, the idea grew to turn their interest into something greater.. With an entrepreneurial spirit and previous experience renovating an old church, they knew they could create something more. We spoke with Viktor about how choosing the Trotec Speedy 400 was crucial in realizing their dream.

In the beginning of 2023, the idea of acquiring a laser machine to expand creative possibilities emerged. Eventually, they faced the choice between a Trotec Speedy 400 and a laser machine from another supplier.

From crafting decorative signs and laser engraving various materials to designing an impressive 150 m2 backdrop for the Royal Opera using laser-cut foam with different patterns, the brothers demonstrate that no project is too big or too small.

The installation of Trotec was quick and seamless, with no issues in adapting to Ruby, the ultimate design software facilitating smooth daily work with the laser machine. Creating graphics, photos, and text elements with quick adjustments directly in the program is effortless.

Now, Viktor and Oskar dream of investing in more Trotec machines, with the opportunity to expand their business. For Brödernas Finsnickeri, this is just the beginning of their journey.
