Tomas Svensson has worked as maintenance manager at Högland Såg & Hyvleri since 2001 and has seen the company's fantastic growth over the years. From 30.000 m³, they now achieve an annual production volume of almost 300 m³ of timber products.

    Challenge

In 2008, Högland Såg & Hyvleri AB began marking their timber products and as production increased, hand stamping was no longer an option. When they came into contact with Logimark 4-5 years ago, the possibilities for the different types of marking Logimark as a supplier could offer were opened up.

"There wasn't a big need for marking at the time, but we wanted to try something new. Logimark is out a lot in our area and is close at hand when service is needed." Explains Tomas.

    Logimark's solution

Today they have invested in the inkjet printer Integra PP108 The inkjet printer has a print height of 108 mm and achieves a remarkable speed of up to 600 meters per minute – an application for fast production lines. The system is level-independent, which means that the ink tank can be installed above, below or at the same height as the print head without any problems. What also makes the inkjet printer suitable for the wood industry is its unique shock resistance, which is particularly suitable for productions that experience vibrations.
