Questions & Answers (FAQ) About Print & Apply

Among our print-and-apply labeling systems, there are a variety of evidence methods to choose from.

  • Wipe-on: With this method the label is removed from the carrying paper and rolled on the product's surface. This is the simplest and most common application method and works best on flat and regular products.
  • BELT: Remapplikator is used for Wipe On-Application at high track speeds and, if needed, the most recently written label on product. An example of the last written label can be in connection with dynamic weighing. This is a method that is suitable for, for example, trough labeling.
  • BLOW: An air blower label uses air pressure to apply labels to products that have uneven surfaces. A fan holds the label in place on a plate. When the product is in the correct position, the applicant releases an air puff that attaches the label to the product. This touch -free method is ideal for uneven or sensitive surfaces where traditional methods of pressing the label on the product can be challenging or risky.
  • Tamp: Tamp labeling is a method for applying labels to products or packaging by using a stamp or a "tamp" that presses the label directly against the surface. It is a common labeling technique that is often used for flat and solid surfaces, but which can also work well on uneven or curved surfaces depending on the applicator's flexibility.
  • Swing: This method applies the label with a rotating or "swinging" arm. Swing labeling can be used on a variety of product shapes and sizes, making it useful in many different industries. This method is often used in automated production lines where the rapid movement of the swinging arm enables a high labeling rate, which is important in large -scale production.

Most print & apply systems can handle a wide range of labels, including self-adhesive labels, thermal transferences and thermo labels. The machines are adaptable to handle different sizes and materials.

For companies that only need to label small volumes or that often change label layout, a print & apply machine can be less cost-effective compared to manual labeling.

Print & Apply

Are you looking for an effective solution for printing and applying labels directly to your products in a single smooth step? Our print-and-apply labeling systems give you the opportunity to manage labeling products, cartons and packaging with high precision and speed. Each machine offers a variety of features and unique benefits to suit your labeling needs. It is advantageous to invest from the start in a labeling machine that fits production for many years to come and that can adapt as production grows and gets new conditions. Our machines can be delivered with endless possibilities when it comes to printer modules and positioning to apply labels at different angles.

Effective Print & Apply for your production line

The labeling machines have a printer and applicator in the same device, which makes it possible to print text, codes, logos etc. and apply labels in the same step. Technically, the system works by first printing the label with a thermotransfer or direct thermo printer. After printing, the label is transferred to the applicator that applies it to the product with different methods, such as "Tamp-Blow" or "Wipe-On", depending on the shape and surface of the product. The machine can be adapted to label everything from boxes and bottles to pallets and bags, which makes it very versatile. The machines are also adapted to integrate with other machines in your production line, such as filling machines or packaging machines, for a continuous workflow.

Whether you have an oppressed or unprinted label, we recommend these label machines if you both want to apply and label your label to the product. The label can be variable information such as best-before date, QR code, serial number, batch number etc.

How to use a print & apply labeling system

Using a print & apply machine is simple and efficient. The system is integrated into your production line and labels real -time products as they pass through the line. You can program the system to print and apply labels with specific information to each product, which gives you full flexibility. As a product passes through the machine, the system prints the label and applies it automatically without slowing down production. It is a seamless process that saves time and reduces the risk of labeling errors.

Industries and products that use print & apply

Print & Apply is used in many different industries and on a variety of products:

  • The food industry : To label packaging with the best pre-date, ingredient lists and barcodes.
  • The pharmaceutical industry : Precision labeling of medical packages with serial numbers and batch numbers for traceability and safety.
  • Logistics and transport : labeling of pallets and cartons with freight labels, bar codes and QR codes for easy tracking and handling.
  • The beverage industry : labeling of bottles and jars with product names, volume information and date labels.
