Variable print labels can be used, for example, for pagination/serialisation of data such as barcodes, numbers/texts and logos. Examples of applications can be labelling of storage locations/storage shelves, analysis of samples, machine signs, serial number labels, labelling with Swedish table of contents and various applications for unique identification (e.g. EAN-13, QR code and data matrix). One of the main advantages of variable print labels is that they can be customised to different needs and requirements, which means that you can produce a large number of different labels, for different products, at the same time. This allows you as a manufacturer and distributor to save time and money, while customising labels for different customers and market segments. We have labelling materials that are sustainable for all environments and a knowledge base of product labelling rules and regulations at different levels.
The minimum order value is SEK 2000, the number of labels for this amount depends on materials, size, adhesive and customer print.
There is a whole range of materials!
Paper labels can be made of coated paper, rustic wine paper or metallic paper. Plastic or synthetic labels are available in polypropylene, polythene, vinyl or polyester, the latter two being UV-resistant.
If you have packaging in the form of a tube or bottle where the label needs to be more flexible, it may be advantageous to choose polythene.
Inkjet is a label material, available in both plastic and paper, matte and glossy, that absorbs ink making it optimal for labels to be printed on their own in a colour printer.
Other materials worth mentioning are transparent and holographic.
If you are looking for a label in recycled material, we have it in both paper and plastic.
To create a label, you need to specify the dimensions width x length and how it should be rolled up. It is important to remember that the information must fit on the label and the size must be adapted accordingly.
We have a variety of existing moulds in different sizes. If the dimension is not available in an existing mould, we can create a new one or use laser cutting.
The punch is a tool for cutting out labels.
If you want a large number of variably printed labels on a roll, it can be good to know:
Coil and bobbin/core: We can offer cores in 1 inch (25.4 mm), 2 inch (41 mm) and 3 inch (76.2 mm).
Rewinding: If the label is not to be applied by hand, it is important to ensure that the labels are rolled up correctly. Otherwise, there is a risk that the label will end up in the wrong place in an automation process.
It is also important to know the maximum outer diameter of the label roll so that the roll does not become too large and thus does not fit in the printer. This information is usually available in the datasheet of your printer.
Ordering on a roll is most common, especially if it's a larger volume and you want to print them from a label printer.
Depending on the volume and size, it is also possible to have round labels delivered on sheets.
