In 1951 companies were moved to Mönsterås and are still there today. 1971 The name is changed to Stece AB and in 2008 a wholly owned company that is owned and is part of the Lesjöforsgruppen found in Scandinavia, Europe, Asia and North America. Lesjöfors Industrioneers deliver products to companies in a large number of different industries, including agriculture, medical technology and construction and infrastructure. Above all, the automotive industry is one of their largest segments where Volvo and Scania are their largest customers and they have been their suppliers for a long time.
We went up to Lesjöfors industrial feathers in Mönsterås where we met Henrik Berg, technical seller, who talked about and enthusiastically showed their factory and their production of print springs and band details.
“ We produce the most pressure springs and have done it all year, what has been added are wave springs that we are unique in and we are now investing hard on automation. ”Henrik says. They mainly add high volume items for automatic grinding, which contributes to fewer employees.
New need
The need to label products permanently arose as Volvo's aftermarket realized the importance of protecting its products against copying. This led to Lesjöfors industrial feathers began to investigate the market after a suitable laser machine.
Solution and customer judgment
Lesjöfors found Logimark and was introduced to Trotec's fiber laser speedmarks 700 . The machine responded directly to the needs of the business and after a few weeks the machine was delivered to Mönsterås. The installation went smoothly and the staff received a brief training on the functions of the machine and software.
According to Henrik, it was no wonder " It was easy to get started and production could start immediately."
Speedmarker 700 is included in their production line of Volvo's product "Y-Spring" for labeling brand and article number. We became impressive to see how effectively the process went.
Future plans
Their vision for the future includes continued growth and collaboration in several large projects. They are no stranger to bringing in more labeling assignments given the increasing demand they receive. Henrik expresses his enthusiasm to bring in additional labeling projects and points out that permanent labeling has proven to work well and been a relatively simple process. He emphasizes the importance of growing with his customers.
